Collei Build as Support for Dendro Elemental Reaction Team

Dian

Collei name has been around even before her release. She appear as character in Genshin Impact Manga, who in the end of story following Cyno to learn in Sumeru. Later in Sumeru story we found out that she gained Dendro vision and become Tighnari apprentice as forest ranger.

Collei is free dendro character and building her is a must if you want more choices of dendro support. She is bow user who provides off field support both in damage and dendro application.

For talent priority, you can level up Elemental Burst first, followed by Elemental Skill, then Normal Attack. You can left Normal Attack at low level or ignore it completely.

Elemental Skill > Elemental Burst > Normal Attack

Weapons

When using Collei as support, your priority will be getting her burst ready as soon as possible. For this reason, it’s recommended to use Energy Recharge weapon like Elegy, Sacrificial Bow (R4+), or Favonius Warbow.

End of the Line can be obtained from Fishing in Sumeru, while Fading Twilight is weapon from past event (2.7).

Weapon with ATK or Elemental Mastery is also an option to add more to Collei personal damage, though by choosing ATK/EM weapon you will need to consider using Energy Recharge Sand or try to getting lucky with substats.

Of course 5 star ATK/CRIT i also an option, but since we are talking about support here. Let’s stick with support weapon and use 5 star dps bow for dps character instead.

Artifacts

For dendro character, first choice will be always 4 Deepwood Memories from Spire of Solitary Enlightenment in Sumeru.

4 Deepwood Memories
(2) Dendro DMG Bonus +15%.
(4) After Elemental Skills or Bursts hit opponents, the targets’ Dendro RES will be decreased by 30% for 8s. This effect can be triggered even if the equipping character is not on the field.

Second is support character best friend, Noblesse Oblige:

4 Noblesse Oblige
(2) Elemental Burst DMG +20%.
(4) Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.

Or, if you already run both artifact above in team. You can go with 4 Millelith:

4 Tenacity of the Millelith
(2) HP +20%.
(4) When an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, the ATK of all nearby party members is increased by 20% and their Shield Strength is increased by 30% for 3s. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s. This effect can still be triggered even when the character who is using this artifact set is not on the field.

Team for Collei

Collei work best as support and she can join any team related with dendro elemental reactions. Here’s some example:

Quicken Aggravate

For example, quicken aggravate team with electro character as main dps. You can go with Keqing as DPS, Fischl as 2nd electro, Collei as dendro support, and last slot can be filled with anemo swirl or 2nd dendro character.

Quicken Aggravate team

Frozen Bloom

Frozen Bloom, Fridge Bloom whatever you want to call it. Using 1 dendro, 1 cryo, 1 hydro enabler, and 1 utility (shield, healing). For example, I’m using Collei, Rosaria, Barbara (EM),and Sucrose.

Nilou Bloom Team

There’s no Bloom Team without Nilou. This team consisting of 2 Hydro with Nilou being one of them, and 2 Dendro: 1 main dendro enabler and 1 dendro helper with extra utility (shield or healing).

And many more. Her main job is to apply dendro quickly, and as long as you can create team to utilize her elemental application, then you are good to go.
