Scion of the Blazing Sun is bow with 4 star rarity, one of the new upcoming battle pass weapon which will be available after release of Genshin Impact 4.0 Fountaine update.
Scion of the Blazing Sun have CRIT Rate just like other battle pass weapon and is a good pick for anyone who need more bow for their dps character.
After a Charged Attack hits an opponent, a Sunfire Arrow will descend upon the opponent hit, dealing 60/75/90/105/120% ATK as DMG, and applying the Heartsearer effect to the opponent damaged by said Arrow for 10s.
Opponents affected by Heartsearer take 28/35/42/49/56% more Charged Attack DMG from the wielder. A Sunfire Arrow can be triggered once every 10s.

- Weapon Ascension material: Echo of Scorching Might x3, Remnant Glow of Scorching Might x9, Dream of Scorching Might x9, and Olden Days of Scorching Might x4 from Tower of Abject Pride in Sumeru.
- Common Material 1: A Flower Yet to Bloom x15, Treasured Flower x18, and Wanderer’s Blooming Flower x27 dropped by Hilichurl Rogues in Great Red Desert, hopefully will be available in the other region.
- Common Material 2: Fungal Spores x10, Luminescent Pollen x15 and Crystalline Cyst Dust x18 dropped by All elemental type of Fungi which can be found in Sumeru and some part of Chasm Underground.
Who is Scion of the Blazing Sun Good For?
CRIT Rate bow with effect to launch extra arrow and inflict enemy with effect to take higher charged attack damage. 2 Characters comes to mind for this: Amber and Ganyu.
Amber is unfortunately powercreeped by so many characters so not many people want to use her unless for roleplaying or waifu reason. The main highlight is Ganyu, she already have extra damage from charged attack and this bow will add more damage to that.
Other character that benefit from this weapon is Tighnari and recently released Lyney.
