Keqing is one of the five-star Electro characters available in Genshin Impact. She is available since the beginning of the game and still one of fans favorite whether it’s as waifu or dps.
When it comes to DPS she have 2 choice: Physical and Electro, and luckily both is viable dps options.
Thanks to recent Sumeru update, Electro build placed higher than Physical now because that update bring new elemental reactions: Aggravate which boost her dps potential even higher.
Electro Keqing gameplay revolves around spamming electro infused charged attack to the enemy along with her elemental skill and burst. Keqing have pretty high speed attack, and all her talents: Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, and Burst executed at high speed with pretty low cooldown, make it pretty much spammable.
Here’s list of all weapons recommended to use for Keqing with some notes regarding the weapon:
|Similar to Non Aggravate Keqing, Mistsplitter is Aggravate Keqing’s BIS. Use Mistsplitter if you have it.
|The gap between Mistsplitter and Jade Cutter in Aggravate Keqing is much smaller due to the high CRIT RATE, boosting Aggravate’s damage.
|Since Keqing Aggravates mostly from her first Normal Attack, Haran’s NA DMG% pushes Aggravate’s damage quite high. On top of that, Haran provides a large amount of CRIT RATE, making this weapon sit at a comfortable top 3 spot.
|Aggravate Keqing appreciates the EM provided by Freedom Sworn, alongside the ATK% buff and the NA / CA buff, pushing this weapon to a comfortable top spot.
|While Summit Shaper usually needs time to ramp up, Keqing’s Elemental Burst fully stacks this weapon by itself. This, paired with consistent shield uptime, makes Summit Shaper one of Keqing’s top weapons.
|Wait HoD is this high up? It is! The amount of CRIT stats provided by this weapon push Aggravate’s damage quite well. However, maintaining the Passive is crucial.
|Aggravate Keqing has nearly 100% uptime on Lion’s Roar’s passive, making it reliable unless you are facing enemies with innate Element.
|The Black Sword remains a strong and consistent option for Keqing, and beats Lion’s Roar with EM / ATK buffs.
List and notes of weapons above copied directly from KQM website. I didn’t include some weapon because at worst scenario, I assume player can just use easy obtainable Harbinger of Dawn refinement 5 or Lions Roar.
Electro Keqing Artifacts Set
For artifacts suggestion, your choice is only between 2 set: Thundering Fury and Thundersoother. Both can be farmed in Midsummer Courtyard domain in Mondstadt.
Before dendro arrival, 4 piece Thundering Fury was a big no no for electro build. But now it’s her best artifact, boosting overall DMG and other effect to decrease Elemental Skill CD.
|4 Thundering Fury
|(2) Electro DMG Bonus +15%
(4) Increases DMG caused by Overloaded, Electro-Charged, Superconduct, and Hyperbloom by 40%, and the DMG Bonus conferred by Aggravate is increased by 20%. When Quicken or the aforementioned Elemental Reactions are triggered, Elemental Skill CD is decreased by 1s. Can only occur once every 0.8s.
In Aggravate team you will need to keep electro uptime 100%, making 4 set Thundersoother effect always active.
|(2) Electro RES increased by 40%.
(4) Increases DMG against opponents affected by Electro by 35%.
Artifacts Stats and Substats
For stats and substats part, she is pretty much depend on 3 main stats for dps: ATK, CRIT Rate, and CRIT DMG.
|Electro DMG Bonus%
|CRIT Rate%/CRIT DMG%
|CRIT Rate%/CRIT DMG% > ATK%/ATK > Elemental Mastery > Energy Recharge%
Aggravate Team for Keqing
When it comes to aggravate team, your fist step would be getting another electro character to keep electro applied other than your main dps. 1 slot reserved for dendro character with deepwood memories, and last one depend on what you need and what do you have.
You can put Zhongli for his shield, healer, or anemo swirl support like Venti, Kazuha, or Sucrose.
For example, in my case Aggravate team would be like this. Later I replace Dendro Traveler with other Dendro character like Kirara to cover shield part as well.
